The KFE and Tower Leasing Golf Day united golf lovers and customers across Scotland when it teed off on Tuesday 11th October.
Played at the Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club in Edinburgh, where famous names such as Nick Faldo and Sam Torrance have competed, 36 golfers took to the 18-hole course which takes in stunning views of the Scottish countryside and the Forth Bridge. Groups included members of the Scottish Italian Golf Society as well as KFE customers from 25 shops across Scotland.
In a prize-giving ceremony that followed, KFE Area Sales Manager for the West of England and Wales, Simon Parsonson, was crowned the tournament winner with 39 points, followed by John Singh, owner of multiple shops in Glasgow, in second place with 35 points.
Rikki Pirie of Sea, Salt + Sole in Aberdeen won nearest the pin, with Paul Santi Jnr, a shop owner from Glasgow, hitting the longest drive. Unfortunately for Ross Irvin of The Fish Works in Largs, it wasn’t his day and he walked away with the wooden spoon.
Commenting on the tournament, Paul Williams, Managing Director of KFE, said: “We were delighted once again to unite shop owners and members of the Scottish Italian Golf Society, this time in conjunction with our leasing partner Tower Leasing.
“As a company, it’s in our DNA to bring people together. This was another fantastic event which provided the opportunity for like-minded customers from the industry to share ideas, make friendships, strengthen bonds and talk about businesses. It’s days like these that make our industry stronger and move businesses forward.
“We have a strong presence in Scotland, but it is also an area extremely close to our family’s heart, so it always means a lot to host an event here.”
